Sonia recently completed her Masters in Neuroscience in the Brain Behavior Laboratory at UBC hospital. Her research was focused on whether non-invasive brain stimulation may help individuals learn a new task after stroke, and how the sensory cortex in the brain is involved. She currently works as a member of the Pediatric Anesthesiology Research Team at the BC Children's Hospital, and as a Rehabilitation Care worker for individuals with acquired brain injury. In her spare time, Sonia can be found playing outside on the water or the snow, depending on the season. | |
