Thanks Deb! I appreciate you sharing the details of the research with the team.

I thought I would elaborate more on vascular cognitive impairment.

As some of you might know, medical conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, and TIA might affect the vascular health (ie your blood vessel network). Weakened blood vessel might in turn restrict blood flow...which sometimes lead to memory or other cognitive problems... Hence, vascular cognitive impairment.

The Promote Research Program is interested in seeing how lifestyle interventions such as exercise and nutrition can help with a weakened vascular system.

If you suspect you have a memory or other cognitive problems, please feel free to contact me. My email is ntai@hiphealth.ca. I would be most happy to clarify any details for you.

Thank you for reading this!
Nelly
