 Stroke Survivors B.L.A.S.T. 2012 "Building Life After Stroke Together"
All inclusive April 6 – 9, 2012
This invitation is extended to all stroke survivors who want to experience a fun filled weekend designed for their pleasure and challenges.
Join other stroke survivor families departing Vancouver Good Friday, arriving at Camp Squamish by mid-afternoon when you'll meet up with other happy campers ready to have a good time until Easter Monday when after lunch we all return home.
We received replies from 176 members who filled out our survey. We appreciate all your ideas. We will definitely consider them in the planning process. Those of you who have attended this special weekend before can help spread the enthusiasm and let everyone know what a BLAST it is. Direct people to TurtleTalk.ca where they can learn more about it and watch a video of a typical camp. Easter Camp has been recreated to share with those who have not yet had the opportunity to absorb the benefits from this incredible experience.
Sign up for BLAST online. Anyone on the internet can help sign people up. Call us and we'll gladly do it for you. Unfortunately we are limited to 80 people. We need 30 definite people by January 20th, 2011. Reserved your space with a nominal deposit of $20.00. We have not set the price yet as fundraising is ongoing. It will be no more than $250 for SRABC members. Start saving now. We Need Your Help page can be printed and brought to local businesses in your area to help lower our costs.
We understand the difficulty in planning ahead when you have no idea what to expect. At B.L.A.S.T. there are no expectations, only understanding. Set your own pace and take a break when you need to. Hope you come and join us.
