Bonnie has retired. Nicole is the new Easter Seals Camp Squamish administrator. March 2008 rates are attached below Squamish is what it is, but really a good price. $62 a night including
3 meals and bedding. We could probably do 3 nights for around $225 -
$250. I mis-used Bonnie's quote of $155 pp back in 2006? 5? It would
be the equivalent of $186 today. It does not include the pool charge
and staff lodging. Roughly, 60 people @ $225 would cover 10 staff and
the pool for 2 days.
Nicole's sheet doesn't specify capacity. I think 70 and I'm not sure
if that includes the end suites...and were there 4? 1 at each end of
each building?
Although buses were provided in the past I don't think it should be
included in the price when comparing. Has anyone approached Lion's Club, Kiwanis, Jaycees etc.
Now that time has passed and it's become more evident that it's that or nothing
I wonder how many people would be interested? Realistically we need to consider recruiting 50 new people. ( which is the case where ever we do it )
There is also the question of when it should be. I know there has been much discussion on this prior to my becoming a director. I am nostalgic and pro tradition. IF we decide to revive it, I would like it to be Easter Camp at Easter Seals Camp Squamish.
