Well, here's the reply.
Can't book 2011 til 2010
hmmm she's saying she's pretty booked up for 2009.
I said we were wide open, but no info regarding $$$
Tomorrow I could call her to try get a few dates and cottage costs for our
scouting excursion.
Might end up someone may have to go in person to talk with her.
I think conversation is needed to narrow down something we can work with. - Hide quoted text -

Deb-Thank you for your enquiry about Stillwood. I actually only book one
year ahead of time so I am only booking up to Feb 2010 right now. If you
want to book for 2011 you would need to wait until 2010.
Now, if some of your committee wants to come up and have a retreat keep in
mind that I book one year ahead of time so most of 2009 is already accounted
for.
All of our accommodations have bunk beds, so it is really hard to say right
now, if I did have an opening where that may be and what accommodation
unless I knew a date. Most lodges sleep 2 – 3 per room, not using the top
bunks. Wheelchair access is available in most buildings.

*Dear Carol,*
*I would like information on your facility. I belong to Templeton Stroke
Recovery, one of the 39 branches of the Stroke Recovery Association of
British Columbia. Presently I am just gathering information and not
officially acting on behalf of the association.*
*We would like to hold a retreat for stroke survivors in B. C. There was an
annual retreat in Squamish, B.C. during the Easter weekend which
unfortunately ended a couple years ago.*
*I am a stroke survivor and I have participated in a few rehabilitation
programs. None of them compare to spending less than 72 hours a year
socializing with my peers. Now that I am more able, it's my turn to try and
recreate a similar experience for others. Recreation and social activity is
the key to recovery. Motivated through fun it allows us to make the shift
into a meaningful life within our new set of circumstances. *
*Stillwoods looks like the perfect venue to suit our needs. Additionally
there is room to grow as our population ages and an increasing number of
brain attacks occur. *
*Ideally we would like to fill one of your Lodges. Accessibility and funds
are the main concerns. *
*What would be the capacity of each Lodge excluding bunk beds?*
*Is there wheelchair access to all locations? How many accessible bedrooms?*
*Please send me information including meals, * *programs, and various rates
for high and low seasons. The original plans were find a place to host a
retreat for 2011. However, in the near future we probably have a couple of
scouts wanting to spend a night or two and/or a small group wanting to stay
in the cottages.*
*The pictures on the website look awesome and we are very interested in
going there. We are open to any suggestions suitable for our needs.*
*Email is best or mail to:*
